The objects of the Society are:

(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.

(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.

(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.

(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.

(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.

(f) To educate students on the fundamentals of humanitarian engineering, by providing students with the opportunities to connect with communities and create a positive change.

(g) To provide students with opportunities to develop employability, develop new skills and grow their experience of working in teams.

(h) To run programs and events that provide students with a chance to develop skills to increase employability.

(i) To provide leadership opportunities on campus and for teams in the WA region.

(j) To offer pathways into international programs for Engineers Without Borders design summit programs that count for exposure to professional practice, where students will travel to various regions during the mid-year holidays and over the summer break.

(k) To provide the platform for entry into the EWB WA region's various teams.

(l) To run active local partnerships with sustainable and humanitarian focused engineering organisations.

(m) To run school outreach programs and rural trips to schools to promote sustainable and humanitarian engineering.

(n) To encourage students from various schools and disciplines to join as members, not just engineering students.
